Ingredients

  • ½ a small cabbage
  • 3 carrots
  • ¾ of an onion
  • 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Wash the cabbage and cut into thin slices with a sharp knife or put through a food processor.
  2. Place shredded cabbage into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Wash and peel the carrots, also removing both ends. Grate into the bowl with the cabbage.
  4. Very finely dice the onion and add to the bowl.
  5. Add the mayonnaise and season with salt and lots of black pepper.
  6. Mix well with a spoon. Cover with cling film and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
