Ingredients

  • 4 oz (115 g) of bean sprouts
  • 3 sticks of celery
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 green apple
  • 3 tbsp of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tbsp of toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 ½ tbsp of freshly chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • ½ tsp of chilli powder
  • Salt

  1. Wash and drain the bean sprouts.
  2. Cut the celery into thin slices.
  3. Wash the pepper and cut in half. Remove the seeds and the core. Cut into small pieces.
  4. Wash and core the apple. Cut into small chunks.
  5. Put all of the above prepared ingredients into a mixing bowl.
  6. Place the remaining ingredients, apart from the sesame seeds, into a small mixing bowl and blend together.
  7. Pour over the salad and mix well.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and then serve.
